The Great Turkey Race

As one of our countdown activities we read The Great Turkey Race. It's a silly story about some turkeys who hold some events because they want to be the "Thanksgiving Turkey" not knowing that the Thanksgiving turkey will be...well...dinner.  Little Bug didn't make that connection which is probably best.

I really need to get to the craft store to get some paint because some of the activities that we were going to do require paint and I'm actually out of regular paint so hopefully in a few days we can do some of the painting crafts I had planned!
